Example 2 - Resist Aqua 3 provides a 30% resistance to Water. Ice Dagger has 3 parts to it - the damage done immediately, the damage done over time, and the chance for the DoT to land. Resist Aqua reduces the chance for it to land and the damage done, but it does not reduce the damage over time.
